Pot 1:
Spain: Holders of both the World Cup and the European Championships Spain enter this tournament as the team everybody wants to avoid. If the Spanish attack performs well over the tournament Spain have a good chance of winning the tournament.
Holland: The team everybody likes in the tournament Holland enter the tournament ranked 2nd in the world. If Van Persie, Robben and Sneijder hit form Holland could shock Spain and win the Euros.
Poland: Entering the tournament as co-hosts Poland are seen widely as a team which will get no further than the group stage of the Euros. Poland who are ranked 66th in the Fifa World rankings are seen as the ideal first seeds.
Ukraine: Ukraine in my opinion have been written out of progressing from the groups prematurely in my opinion. As the second hosts there is a small bit of pressure on the Ukranian team to be the one out of the two hosts to deliver.
POT 2:
Germany: Looked very good at the World Cup in South Africa and have some exciting young players who have great determination to succeed at a major tournament. Have a good chance to win the competition also.
England: Coming in to the tournament once again with high expectations. The defence and constantly changing midfield are a worry for England in my opinion.
Italy: Have been very quiet since their World Cup victory as they are neither in blistering form nor abysmal form either. Will get out of the group but I can't see them progressing much further.
Russia: The second seed every team wants to draw. They had one of the easier qualifying groups but struggled to finish top. If Arshavin hits his best form they have a slight chance of progressing.
POT 3:
Croatia: Will be tricky if they are drawn against but will not have any chance of winning the overall competition.
Greece: They are seen as the weakest of the 3rd seeded teams but they have a sturdy defence which will make them tough to beat.
Portugal: This Portugal side is capable of knocking out one of the 'Big Teams' in my opinion and if Ronaldo hits the goals we know he can well then who knows they may win the overall competition or at least have a good go.
Sweden: A distinctly average team with one spark, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Swedish hopes lay firmly on Zlatan's shoulders but the question is: Will he deliver?
POT 4:
Denmark: Very few sparks in that Denmark team for me but one player I eagerly anticipate is Christian Eriksen.
France: The team who would be part of the 'Group Of Death'. They have many individuals Benzema and Ribery but no real team spirit.
Czech Republic: The worst team in the competition in my opinion. Very little in attack or the back and that makes them a team who others would want to get.
Ireland: This is their first Euros in 12 years and great excitement is surrounding it. If the defence holds firm Ireland will be one of the harder 'Weaker' teams
Looking forward to tomorrow? I know I am!! I hope your team gets the easy/ Death group.
